Tapping into Spring
Although we haven't quite reached the equinox just yet, we've set our clocks forward here in Oregon, and the crocus have already given way to hyacinth and daffodils. Spring isn't waiting for the calendar - she's sprung!
I absolutely love this time of year. Everything is full of potential and just bursting with life. It always seems to come as a surprise to me. I'm always at a place where I've resigned myself to winter, and to the northwestern cold and damp, and suddenly there's light! There's life in the trees and flowers, birds begin to sing, and I remember and appreciate how free and wild life really is.
There's a current running through everything right now, and the time is ripe for birthing the new. Possibilities abound, greater than ever before. A chance to breathe in the fresh new life that streams from the natural world into every cell in your body. The life that reinvigorates the soul and brings dreams that have been gestating in the darkness to begin to come into form.
And we've got incredible new energy pouring into the planet now, as well as the natural surge that happens at this time of year in the northern hemisphere. Maybe you can feel that wave as well.
There are so many ways to tap into these extraordinary oceans of life force available to us now. Being outside and witnessing the new life with all of our senses, digging in the dirt, taking walks in the rain and in the brilliant sunshine. As mask mandates begin to end we have more opportunities to smile at one another, send love through our gaze.
And so powerful to intentionally send this life force to those we love and care about, send our love to those we know are in fear and physical danger.
Even more powerful when we are able to realize that this energy, this life force, this incredible power is not outside of us at all, but a part of who and what we really are.
We are a part of this magnificent organism, and the great yearning toward creation, and no matter what appears outside of us, that much is undeniable. We are connected, and a part of every living thing.
